We use cookies to make our site easier and more intuitive. The data collected thanks to cookies is used to make the browsing experience more pleasant and more efficient in the future.
What are cookies?Cookies are small text files sent from the site to the interested party's terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the site at the next visit by the same user. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from the user's hard disk or transmit computer viruses or acquire email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user's web browser. Some of the functions of cookies may be delegated to other technologies. In this document, the term 'cookie' refers to both cookies, strictly speaking, and all similar technologies.
Type of cookiesCookies can be first or third party, where "first party" means cookies that indicate the site as the domain, while "third party" means cookies that are related to external domains.
Third-party cookies are necessarily installed by an external party, always defined as "third party", not managed by the site. These subjects may also install first-party cookies, saving their cookies on the site domain.
Another type of cookie is the so-called "Flash Cookie" (Local Shared Objects), used within Adobe Flash Player to provide some content, such as video clips or animations, in order to remember settings and preferences. Flash cookies are stored on the device, but are managed through a different interface than the one provided by the browser used.
Regarding the nature of cookies, there are different types:
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service" (see art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).
They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or operator of the website. They can be divided into:
Navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); they are in fact necessary for the correct functioning of the site;
Analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, in order to improve the site's performance;
Functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the user. The installation of these cookies does not require the prior consent of users (more information in the Cookie Management paragraph below).
Profiling cookies are aimed at creating profiles relating to the user and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user when browsing the internet.
The consent of the interested party is required for the use of profiling cookies. According to the provision (more information in the Cookie Management paragraph below) the user can authorize or deny consent to the installation of cookies through the options provided in the "Cookie Management" section.
In the case of third-party cookies, the site does not have direct control of individual cookies and cannot control them (it can neither install them directly nor delete them). You can however manage these cookies through your browser settings (follow the instructions below), or the sites indicated in the "Management of cookies" section.
The User is therefore invited to check on the third party site indicated in the table below.
Here is the list of cookies (logically grouped at functionality or supplier level) present on this site. Third-party cookies have a link to the privacy policy of the relevant external supplier, where it is possible to find a detailed description of the individual cookies and their processing.
The site uses cookies to guarantee the user a better browsing experience; these cookies are essential for the correct use of the site. You can disable these cookies from your browser by following the instructions in the dedicated paragraph, but you will compromise your experience on the site and we will not be able to respond to malfunctions.
